Our number two guide is Jaker Berlin's Killer Ab Workout as it also offers a comprehensive, straight to the point perspective of toning and maintaining your abs.

Best of all, all of the guides below are available via instant download, so you can have your first training session in as little as five minutes from now! We wish you all the best for developing and toning your abs.

Truth About Abs - Mike Geary

From the very first chapter, this book blows many of the common misconceptions out of the water and explains why traditional attitudes and beliefs simply don't work. Mike's system cleverly puts his years of knowledge and expertise into easily digestible chapters that take you step by step through what exercises you should be doing (replacing a 40min ab-workout with 15mins), explaining along the way 'why' these exercises are much more effective and how many popular ab exercises actually impede your progress.

The book includes a full workout program (with accompanying instructional photographs), cardio vs weight training insights, and indepth sections on nutrition and fueling your body with the right foods.

Killer Ab Workout - Jake Berlin

The Killer Ab Workout system is also an excellent product that takes a slightly more technical look at decreasing your body fat % and building a toned, flat stomach. Similarly to the above, it takes a systematic approach to your ab work, filling you in on the 'right foods' (avoiding starvation and diets), how to avoid time-wasting routines that don't get results, and the importance of timing and frequency of your workout.

This book contains some really valuable information, you will feel the impact of doing the 'right exercises' immediately after your first session. As long as you don't mind the slightly more technical approach (you soon get used to what's going on), I highly recommend this book.

Flatten Your Abs - David Grisaffi

I had a mixed reaction to this book; First of all let me say that I absolutely loved the actual content. The workouts are great and the exercises definitely will help you see results fairly fast, however I personally found this guide much harder to follow than the above two. After reading the other two, this one simply doesn't flow naturally. It's important that you understand 'why' you're using a particular technique, or 'why' you should avoid certain habits at all cost, something I don't think this book really achieved.

As mentioned, the book does have alot of good information, and I particularly liked the Q&A section, it's good to see David's developing the book to answer specific questions that his readers have.

Amazing Abs Of Shaolin - Chris Braibant

This guide takes an interesting approach to building up your abs. It's focused around the ancient training techniques of Shaolin and Kung Fu masters, the rigorous exercise regime's they had to undergo to keep their bodies in prime condition and ready for hand-to-hand combat.

I don't recommend this guide in place of the other three, but it is definitely worth a read if you're interested in different workout techniques. One thing to mention is that guide is originally written in French, so there are a few mis-spellings etc, but not to the extent that it is unreadable.
